London, England -- Monday, November 9, 2009. GIFT at 10 Vyner Street, London’s newest gallery opens its doors on the evening of December 3rd with the launch of its premiere exhibition entitled after the gallery's name. The exhibition will include innovative works of sculpture, site-specific installation, paintings and multimedia from ten international artists.

Reciprocity, a mutually beneficial exchange, is a core interest of GIFT, as a organization. For GIFT, the show, each artist has selected a charitable organization that is especially relevant to their life and work. In turn, both the gallery and artists will donate 5% of their sales.

“Gift-giving is a gesture of communicating and coming together. The exchange of one sentiment in the hopes of inspiring another,” says Peter Gallagher-Witham, Founder and Executive Director. As such, GIFT distinguishes itself as a gallery committed to arts-commerce with integrity, inclusivity, and heart. The exhibition will be on view until December 24th, 2009.
